Aware that our growth is directly related to the sustainability of our actions, we have invested significantly in the innovation of production processes and products. With several research and development partners, we are working on a set of innovation projects within the framework of Portugal 2020, which respond to present and future challenges.

Clean Cement Line
Develops a new cement production technology that allows obtaining a low carbon clinker and a reduction in the ecological footprint of the products. -
Baterias 2030
Develops technologies applied to the batteries of the future and their transfer to urban environments. -
NGHV
The project "Green Hydrogen Valley of Nazaré" aims at decarbonisation of the industry through the use of green hydrogen. -
NEWSOL
Developing a new storage system for concentrated solar power plants, with innovative concrete. -
LowC-Bionic
Developing organically shaped structures in low carbon concrete, produced with 3D printers. -
Retrofeed
Using raw material and fuels of biological origin in industrial processes, in a circular economy logic.
The Clean Cement Line subprojects
O The Clean Cement Line project aims to develop and demonstrate a new cement production technology, aiming to develop the production of a low carbon clinker and consequently the creation of a range of low carbon footprint types of cement.

It creates a platform for offshore aquaculture farms' integrated energy and food supply. -
Clean 4G
Designs two new processes for the conversion of CO2 from the cement industry, enabling the global decrease of emissions. -
BeCharged
Plans induction systems for electric vehicle charging and intelligent lighting/signage integrated into concrete structures. -
BeInaHand
It studies fully integrated solutions in concrete, in the context of the interconnection of various systems. -
OnThermalHP
Studies new thin coating solutions, for application over thermal mortars and thermal insulation solutions from the outside.
