What is the project about?
With Combustion Boost there will be the implementation at the line scale of an electrolysis system that will produce a mixture of H2+O2. A series of tests will be carried out to optimise and finally evaluate the benefits of injection during the clinkerisation process.
The introduction of fuel cells for continuous combustion will aim to optimise the burning efficiency and the reduction of specific consumption and emissions.
