Biodiversity and Ecosystems

Secil Group recognises and values the importance of biodiversity. To reduce our impact on ecosystems, we have developed strategies to preserve the environment, namely through the implementation of Landscape Recovery Plans for Quarries and Action Plans for the Promotion of Biodiversity.

These plans assume that a fully rehabilitated system encompasses not only the composition and structure of the flora and animal communities but also the recovery of the natural functions and processes of the ecosystem.
