Ribera Serrallo Sports Complex

The Order of Architects and Secil have awarded the Secil Architecture Award 2006, by unanimous decision of the Jury, to the Ribera Serrallo Sports Complex in Cornellà de Llobregat (Barcelona), designed by architect Siza Vieira.

The award-winning work, commissioned by the Municipality of Cornellà de L'lobregat, consists of a multipurpose pavilion with a capacity for 2500 people, two swimming pools - one indoor and one outdoor - and a gymnasium and common services area. The sports complex was built between 2003 and the end of 2005.
