At Secil, aligning with good governance practices is a transversal objective to our sustainability strategy at Secil. This is, the company's entire activity is based on governance principles, such as respecting Human and Labour Rights with Ethics and Corporate Responsibility.
Our code of conduct establishes that a fundamental pillar at Secil is high standards of business ethics and personal integrity in carrying out our activities. The code of conduct also ensures that Secil's governing bodies and employees act in compliance with the laws and regulations governing their activity at national and international level.
We also expect our suppliers not only to comply with local and national laws, requirements and regulations, but also to meet the same standards to which Secil is committed, namely protecting human and workers' rights, managing environmental impacts and anti-corruption and bribery. This is described in the suppliers' code of conduct for suppliers.
In 2023, we approved a diverse set of policies that describe the high ethical standards that guide Secil’s actions.
This new set of documents identifies the group’s commitment in the following matters: Human Rights; Corruption Prevention; Money Laundering; Tax; Fair Competition; and Stakeholder Engagement.
